Festival accessibility

Most of the venues of JGGT are barrier-free. We will do our best to ensure the smooth entry for wheelchair users as well as mothers with prams, feel free to ask anyone from the production team for help.

Tips for accommodation

If you came to Hradec Králové for more days of the festival, here are some tips for nice accommodation. Hotel Grand is an excellent choice for those interested in the famous modern architecture of the city. If you opt for hotel Černigov, you will sure not miss your train. Hotel Nové Adalbertinum and guest house Amálka are located in the city centre, and offer a nice walk down the hill to all the festival venues. If you are looking for a truly luxurious stay, check Boutique Hotel Mezi Švy. For a more affordable accommodation within the walking distance, try Městské lázně.

Photography

While it is not forbidden to take photographs during the concerts, we would be happy if you chose to enjoy them live. We believe that the most powerful experiences arise when you fully immerse in the music, lights and atmosphere. Perhaps you like recording music on your phone, but sometimes, being fully present is more rewarding. Please be respectful to other members of the audience as well as the performers.

Our official photographers will attend all of the concerts and they will make sure that the best moments of the festival are preserved not just in the memory. Funny action shots, strong emotions and behind-the-scenes pictures will help you to remember the festival anytime.

How to get there

All the venues are easily accessible by the Hradec Králové public transport. The nearest stops for the respective venues are: Na Brně (Petrof Gallery), Komenského (Divadlo DRAK), Centrál (Bio Central), Muzeum nebo Adalbertinum (The Museum of Eastern Bohemia), Ulrichovo náměstí (the Church of Priest Ambrosius). A bike is also a great way of travelling between the venues. Next Bike points are available close to all of the venues, and the rides are free for the first 15 minutes.

Parking

Being an environmentally conscious festival, we would welcome if you opted for public transport or a bicycle as a way of transporting. Nevertheless, parking spots are available by the festival venues, their capacity is usually limited. Parking near all venues is free after 6 pm.
